UT-Arlington doesn’t have football\, so the emphasis understandably fell on other sports including basketball and volleyball\, which previously had been played on an oversize theatrical stage at Texas Hall\, the latter most assuredly an exotic venue but not particularly amenable to either recruiting or collegiate athletic presence.” \nWhat’s next for big time sports at UT-Arlington? SUMMARY:After School Club
DESCRIPTION:It’s every child’s nature to explore.  During after-school clubs at River Legacy\, students have the unique experience of exploring the plants\, animals and habitats of a riparian forest in the middle of the Metroplex. \nFrom frogs to trees to the weather\, children learn about a new topic each month. Then\, they go outside and explore it for themselves.\nAfter-school clubs are offered for students in grades K-6. Participants meet once a month from 4:15 to 6:15 pm from September through April (except December).  Space is limited in each club. \nStudents can choose between Club 1 (meets the second Tuesday of the month) or Club 2 (meets the third Tuesday of the month). See dates below. \n\nCost for the 2016-2017 year is $145\nOpen registration begins Feb. 22.\nClasses available:\n\nNature Explorers: K-1st grades\nEco Detectives: 2nd-3rd grades\nJunior Naturalists: 4th-6th grades (meets 2nd Tuesday ONLY – Club 1)\n\n\n\nRegistration Begins in February.
