DESCRIPTION:One of the more iconic artists of the 20th century\, Picasso was introduced to ceramics in his 60s and instantly immersed himself in the medium. Working out of the Madoura Pottery in Southern France\, he was given free rein to design as the mood struck him. The Spanish artist spent 25 years near the end of his life developing these ceramic pieces.
