The distance between Fort Worth to Dallas via Arlington is, as the crow flies, some 33 and a half miles. But soon crows won’t enter into the equation; walkers, joggers and cyclists will. And if you’re of that ilk, you can help name and brand a path that connects the two burgs and that will include our own River Legacy Trail.
Imagine being able to walk, run or bike across the region, along some of the most well-established trails in North Texas – and experience natural beauty along the way. That’s what the North Central Texas Council of Governments is imagining – and creating. This week, the NCTCG opened a virtual public forum that will help create naming and branding for the expansive project, which is scheduled to be ready to traverse in 2024.
You can read all about it – and share your thoughts on the project – at fortworthtodallastrail.com
