The official start date for the 45th Annual Interlochen Christmas Lights is Friday December 18. However, the Arlington PD have generously agreed to also control traffic “unofficially” with a smaller crew on Friday December 11 and Saturday December 12.
Why? Because we all expect large numbers of visitors wanting to start their Holiday celebrations a little early in this crazy pandemic year.
Many of us can’t wait to bring Joy to the Christmas season. Taking advantage of the pleasant weather, some of the decorations already are up and look terrific. Many more of us will start to Light Up when family comes home to help during Thanksgiving. Others will wait until the last minute, but don’t wait too long because every so often early December can bring some cold, icy weather.
Whatever your timing, we hope you will participate and make this year extra special.
