ARLINGTON, TX (January 29, 2026) – In partnership with the upcoming Java House Grand Prix of Arlington, the Arlington Museum of Art is proud to announce a special exhibition, Chasing Victory: An INDYCAR Exhibition, showcasing items from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, bringing the speed, innovation, and legacy of open-wheel racing to the heart of Arlington ahead of race weekend.
Opening in conjunction with the Java House Grand Prix of Arlington, the exhibition features a variety of rare cars and artifacts spanning almost a century of INDYCAR history, offering fans an up-close look at the history and evolution of INDYCAR racing—just blocks from the streets where today’s drivers will compete.
“We hope fans of the sport and newcomers alike will find ways to connect with the history of INDYCAR before watching the race just blocks from the Arlington Museum of Art,” says Kendall Quirk, Registrar & Director of Exhibitions. “Texas has a unique connection to make iconic moments in the history of open-wheel racing and we look forward to celebrating all of those involved in creating racing excellence.”
Penske Corp, synonymous with performance and leadership in global motorsports, and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, one of the world’s most respected guardians of racing history, have partnered to make this rare public display possible. The exhibition will feature historic artifacts highlighting legendary moments, technological innovation, and the enduring impact of motorsports on American culture. Items from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum’s momentous collection will be included.

Chasing Victory: An INDYCAR Exhibition opens February 13, 2026 and closes July 12, 2026.
