Dear Pilates Family,
As many of you know, we experienced a devastating fire that caused catastrophic damage to our studio. This space has been so much more than a business, it has been a community, built through the relationships, encouragement, and with the support of each of you.
While the fire has taken our physical space from us for now, it has not taken The Pilates Effect. We are not going anywhere.
We are incredibly grateful to share that our friends across the street at the Invictus Foundation Karate Studio are opening their doors of their beautiful studio to us while we are rebuilding.
As we begin the process of rebuilding, The Pilates Effect will temporarily relocate across the street:

Your classes will be creative and challenging using the stability chair, props, toning balls, vibration plate and anything else we use for strengthening, balance, stability and helping you to make those important connections in your body. On the schedule we have added Mat with Props. The Pilates Group Reformer classes will be Chair or Mat or a combination of. We have Vibration Plate class too. If you have any questions or suggestions please reach out. This is just to get us through until the new studio is open. AND, your reformer practice will be better after connecting with your body through the intended principles of pilates from doing Mat and Chair. You’ll see.
We have located the space for our new facility, the equipment is being purchased and the finish out is taking place now and we are committed to rebuilding and coming back stronger. More than anything, we hope you will stay with us through this chapter. Your membership, your presence, your encouragement, and simply continuing to show up will mean more to us right now than you can possibly know.
The new location is The Roosevelt Plaza, address is 2906 W Pioneer Pkwy Dalworthington Gardens 76013, 2 miles from current location. We will be in the same shopping center as Theodore’s Steak and Seafood and Pretty Pups by Tori and Eleanor’s Pizza. We have about 3 or 4 weeks until it is ready, we are getting a new AC unit, I picked out the flooring and paint, lighting and ceiling fans. The STOTT equipment takes about 2 weeks for delivery.
We will email you current and frequent updates keeping you informed.
Buildings can be rebuilt. Equipment can be replaced. Community is what matters, and that is something the fire could never take from us.
