That duo will likely key the team’s 2017 fortunes, the foundation for which will be laid in part during preseason play at AT&T Stadium at 6 p.m. on Aug. 19 against the Indianapolis Colts and at 7 p.m. on Aug. 26 against the Oakland Raiders.

In a nutshell: The range of Milton Greene’s subjects include Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Ava Gardner, Marlene Dietrich, Grace Kelly, Judy Garland, and Catherine Deneuve, as well as many others. The exhibit is organized by diChroma photography and curated by Anne Morin.

Where: The Planetarium at the University of Texas at Arlington  (700 Planetarium Place)

In a nutshell: This month’s shows will include “Back to the Moon for Good,” “One World One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure,” “Astronaut,” “We are Astronomers,” “Secret of the Cardboard Rocket,” “Phantom of the Universe,” “Spacepark 360” and “Pink Floyd.”

What: Donray Traveling Exhibits

Where: Arlington Museum of Art   (201 W. Main St.)

In a nutshell: Donray’s technique captures the beauty of the natural world while commenting on the silent danger that exists out in the open, secluded space.

What: Animal Exploration

Where: River Legacy Living Science Center  (703 N.W. Green Oaks Blvd.)

When: 2 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.

In a nutshell: Youngsters and their parents can discover the habits and adaptations of a native animal during a live animal observation with a River Legacy Naturalist. This “nature-iffic” event is free; RSVP to the number below.

What: Asian Business EXPO

Where: Arlington Convention Center

When: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

In a nutshell: Participants in the 16th annual expo can talk to the decision makers who will buy their services/products, as well as build business relationships in the community.

Aug. 31

What: Artini Hour

Where: River Legacy Living Science Center

When: 6 – 8 p.m.

In a nutshell: Monthly Artini Hours are a fun way for adults to socialize, enjoy some drinks and create a recycled or upcycled art project. Artini Hours include project instruction, supplies, a specialty drink, wine and light appetizers. Cost is $20 per person. Ages 21 and up only; driver’s license required.
