Local businesses, organizations and individuals will be able to pre-order the six-inch red poinsettias for $9.99 each from Oct. 29 to Nov. 23. Thirty or more must be ordered to receive free red wraps and delivery between Dec. 3-14; orders of 50 or more poinsettias will receive $50 off the purchase. For each poinsettia sold, 10 percent of the proceeds will go towards Lena Pope. Last year, sales of poinsettias at Calloway’s Nursery raised over $33,500 for the nonprofit adding to the more than $250,000 raised since 2004.

Lena Pope’s mission is to create hope, happiness and success for children and families. The poinsettia presale partnership with Lena Pope allows Calloway’s Nursery to give back to local communities in a meaningful way.

“Calloway’s is proud to support Lena Pope, an organization that serves so many across Texas,” said Calloway’s Nursery CEO Marce Ward. “We value our partnership with Lena Pope because they directly impact people in neighborhoods in and around our stores.”

“We’re grateful that Calloway’s has created this opportunity for everyone to make the annual tradition of holiday decorating more meaningful,” said Todd Landry, CEO of Lena Pope. “Your poinsettia purchase plants seeds of success for children and families to get the best possible start in life through Lena Pope’s prevention and early intervention programs.”

To preorder poinsettias, call or visit your local Calloway’s Nursery. Poinsettias will also be available for purchase in stores beginning the week of Thanksgiving. For more information and to find your nearest location, visit calloways.com.
