The 2025 Texas Christkindl Market opens in late November and runs through the day before Christmas Eve.
Hosted by the Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau, the event is staged on the Globe Life Field North Plaza next to Texas Live!
The annual market, one of only five Christkindl-themed markets in the United States, presents 20 vendors, anchored by the internationally famous Käthe Wohlfahrt and its exclusive and unique Christmas decorations and designs from the Rothenburg Christmas Village in Germany.
You’ll be immersed in a world of twinkling lights, delicious food, and unique handcrafted gifts, along with holiday music and performances to accompany your choices of culinary goodies.

Käthe Wohlfahrt: the premier source of German-inspired and finely crafted holiday and seasonal décor items. Whether it’s Valentine’s Day, Easter, May Day, Father’s Day, Oktoberfest, or Christmas, they have something for every occasion. Many of the items they offer, such as Nutcrackers, Incense Smokers, Pyramids, and Ornaments, reflect traditional German handicraft and skills that have flourished in the Ore Mountains of Germany for well over 200 years.
817 Arts Alliance: seeks to empower local artisans by providing them with affordable venues to bring their creations to market and unique shopping experiences for customers who want an alternative to mass-produced big box store offerings. Handcrafted, many one-of-a-kind creations by local artisans will include pottery, jewelry, fused and stained glass, photographic art, and handbags.
Arlington’s Christkindl was first inspired in 2011 by the sister city relationship between the city and Bad Königshofen, Germany, now approaching its 75th anniversary. It is an event drawn from the several markets across Europe, bringing the magic and feeling of the classic celebratory event to Texas.
There is no entry charge, and parking is adjacent to the plaza. Current plans are for the market to be open November 12-23 and November 28-December 23 from 11am to 8pm.
Altogether, the experience has enjoyed nationally recognized attention by USA Today. You don’t want to miss it in America’s Dream City, Arlington, Texas – it’s bigger and better than ever!
