Meet Tommy Teasdale, a true Texan with a knack for finding beauty in everything. Back in high school, when he was thinking about his future, one of his teachers suggested he go into the floral industry. That was the moment that sparked his passion for design.

Currently, Tommy proudly owns Urban Country Flower Company, a unique flower and gift shop right in the heart of Lakewood Shopping Center at 2414 West Park Row in Pantego. He works with his partner, David Nolan, and staff to create stunning floral bouquets that celebrate life’s most special moments.

Tommy’s love for beauty goes beyond his flower shop. He recently commissioned a mural at their store, adding a touch of art to the area. The town was blown away by the work of Dallas artist Catalina Currea, and the mural was officially unveiled in May. Tommy was totally in love with the flowerscape, which took several weeks to finish.

Inspired by the first project, Tommy wants to create a few more murals along West Park Row. He’s dreaming of turning the area into a beautiful, walkable place where people can park, grab a snack, and stroll. He can’t wait to make this a fun spot for families to have a great time.

This beautification project not only looks great but also brings more people and businesses to the area, which is great for everyone.

When Tommy showed the project to the Town of Pantego and the Pantego Economic Development Corporation (PEDC), he asked for a PEDC beautification grant. And guess what? The city agreed to cover the whole cost, as long as the mural displayed the Town of Pantego’s name.

Tommy didn’t hesitate. The mural was just too beautiful.
