After School Clubs

It’s every child’s nature to explore.  During after-school clubs at River Legacy, students have the unique experience of exploring the plants, animals and habitats of a riparian forest in the middle of the Metroplex.

From frogs to trees to the weather, children learn about a new topic each month. Then, they go outside and explore it for themselves.
After-school clubs are offered for students in grades K-6. Participants meet once a month from 4:15 to 6:15 pm from September through April (except December).  Space is limited in each club.

Students can choose between Club 1 (meets the second Tuesday of the month) or Club 2 (meets the third Tuesday of the month). See dates below.

• Cost for the 2016-2017 year is $145
• Open registration begins Feb. 22.
• Classes available:
  • Nature Explorers: K-1st grades
  • Eco Detectives: 2nd-3rd grades
  • Junior Naturalists: 4th-6th grades (meets 2nd Tuesday ONLY – Club 1)
