Men Serving God: Growing a Brotherhood of Faith and Service

He worked in the corporate world for a few years before leaving his job in nurse recruiting in October 2007 to take a leap of faith. Paul transitioned into education and taught for nine years. During his first two years as a teacher, he took on a new challenge and earned a master’s degree in teaching from Louisiana College. During Paul’s nine years in education, he taught English as a Second Language, ran an after-school program to help at-risk kids, and then served as a special education teacher.

In 2017, Paul took another leap of faith and transitioned from teaching to running his own publishing business; he had already published several of his own books, all becoming bestsellers. He created publishing and marketing systems to help aspiring authors in their journey and decided this would be his future direction.

Brodie Consulting initially started with a coaching model, but Paul learned a harsh reality: business owners loved his coaching program but didn’t have the time to implement it. Instead, many of those business owners asked Paul to create a Done-for-You Service and offered to pay his company a premium to do so. In the fall of 2018, Paul decided to transition from coaching to Done-for-You Services, and the rest is history.

Since 2019, Brodie Consulting has set new revenue records every year. His team has over 170 bestselling book launches with clients in over 20 countries worldwide. Brodie Consulting mainly works with business owners who want to leverage their book to build their business and brand.

In 2018, Paul began engaging with the local business community. His leadership and service has been recognized on multiple occasions, including being a recipient of the 2023 and 2024 MAVS100 from UT Arlington in recognition of business revenue growth, and the Rotarian of the Year and President’s Award from the Rotary Club of Arlington Highlands. Paul is also a Paul Harris Fellow and proudly supports the Rotary Foundation. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce, River Legacy Foundation, and the Rotary Club of Arlington Highlands.

Paul lives by a Latin phrase that is the core of everything he does: Veritas et Utilitas (Truth and Service). He lives by this principle and is a student of Stoicism. Paul also believes in having strong mentors and credits community leaders, including Paul Fulks, Michael Jacobson, and Becky Gerro, for helping guide his commitment to the Arlington community.

Family is everything to Paul, and his mom, Barbara “Mama” Brodie, is a fixture at many local events in the Arlington community. Barbara is also a proud Rotarian and serves as Paul’s chief advisor while leading all philanthropic initiatives at Brodie  Consulting.
