ARLINGTON, TX — We are thrilled to announce that our 8U Coach Pitch Allstar Team will represent Arlington, TX in the Pony League Baseball and Softball World Series in Youngsville, LA, from July 15–18.
These incredibly resilient athletes, ranging from 6 to 8 years old, are proud representatives of our entire district. The roster brings together students from schools all over AISD and beyond, including Bryant Elementary, Crow Elementary, Duff Elementary, Farrell Elementary, Hill Elementary, Crouch Elementary and Key Elementary.
When this journey began, the team had no expectations. However, they have shown remarkable heart and determination, overcoming numerous challenges along the way—including unpredictable rainouts, blistering hot weather, and intense windstorms.
To help these young athletes make it to Louisiana and compete on the world stage, the team is currently seeking community support and fundraising contributions. All generous donations will go directly toward covering travel, lodging, and tournament expenses for the team.
